  1. Keskek :

Keskek is a ceremonial meat and wheat dish eaten in Anatolia in Turkey, traditionally cooked in huge cauldrons for weddings and other large celebrations. Marinated lamb is cooked in an aromatic broth with wheat and chickpeas, then topped with a brown butter flavoured with Urfa and Aleppo chilli flakes.

On the other hand, Döner Kebab is made with a combination of boneless veal meat, lamb meat, and tail fat.

Manti are also consumed throughout Russia and other post-Soviet countries, where the dish spread from the Central Asian republics. The dumplings typically consist of a spiced meat mixture, usually lamb or ground beef, in a thin dough wrapper and either boiled or steamed.

It is a ball shaped ground beef dish. In a basic kofte recipe, ground beef, lamb or a combination of these two is combined with bread crumbs, onion, garlic and spices. Then shaped in balls and cooked over grill, stove or in oven.

Karnıyarık (lit. 'riven belly' in Turkish) is a dish found in Turkish cuisine consisting of eggplant stuffed with a mix of sautéed chopped onions, garlic, black pepper, tomatoes, optional green pepper, parsley and ground meat.

In Turkey, people like to sit down on a Sunday and enjoy a traditional kahvalti, which translates as 'before the coffee'. It's a hearty breakfast buffet, with various small dishes including bread, cheese, eggs, olives and honey.
